The Tibet Charitable Trust was founded in 1991 (re-named
from the Tiger Rugs of Tibet originally started in 1985)
The trust contributes yearly to the Department of Health in Dharamsala, India,
to supplement nursing staff wages at the Tashi Delek Hospital, and two existing
tibetan clinics, one
in Jampalin,
the
other one at Tenzingang, in India and Nepal.
The Trustees are unpaid and work voluntary. |
